DESIGN OF THE "S-8 KOM-BE INERT" rocket
The S-8KOM-BE INERT unguided air missile consists of an inert warhead and a rocket engine. The rocket motor is composed of solid ballistic fuel and in the temperature range from 213 K to 333 K has the following characteristics: total thrust impulses - from 5394 N.s to 5984 N.s; operating time - from 0.45 s to 1.3 s. A modern production method of shaped aluminum tubes was used for the construction of the housing.
